National Account Director
JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The Regional/National Sales Director (RAD or NAD) is responsible for increasing gross profit and market share while developing ongoing relationships with new and existing customers. The RAD/NAD will pursue large opportunities (mostly Platinum level) and multinational companies. He or she will also cooperate with the JAS Global Accounts and Vertical teams and as directed by local management. Local management can direct the RAD/NAD to develop specific markets.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
Essential is your ability to:
Develop sales strategies to increase our PLATINUM/Diamond and Multinational customer base
Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by the company
Travel throughout assigned territory to meet with regular and prospective customers
Able to develop and maintain strong business relationships
Provide pricing, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
Provide activity reports and sales plans for the assigned territory
Actively participate in aggressive sales and skills training and/or any other company sponsored sales meeting as indicated by management
Adhere to all requirements outlined in the Sales Policy
Must be a super user of our CRM system

Thorough knowledge of transportation industry logistics and freight forwarding
Thorough knowledge of successful sales techniques
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record
College degree preferred
3-5 years successful sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics and or transportation industry
Experience with CMS system
